WINTER STORM AND SAFETY ALERT

*** Pearl River, New Hampshire ***

A major winter event is expected Tuesday afternoon through early Thursday morning. Accumulations of 24 to 36 inches of snow are predicted before Wednesday evening, when the precipitation will turn to sleet.

Because this winter storm coincides with a blue moon, the US Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a warning to shelter in place, stating the threat of grievous injury from undisclosed local fauna is extremely high.

The agency cautions to ignore any scratching or animal vocalizations from outdoors. They may resemble the cries or laughs from human children. DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOORS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

The End.
